Effective 4-15-16, users of QuickTime for Windows are now strongly encouraged to uninstall this media player since Apple has ended its support for the software. Apple has recently abandoned this software and removed security support for the player. This means that Windows QuickTime users will no longer be protected to possible security exploitations.
This end of Apple support for Windows QuickTime will not effect the ability to view QuickTime Or MOV files on Windows Media Player and/or other free media players available for Windows operating systems.
QuickTime for Windows is still available from Apple's website as a free download and you can get it here if you still want to use it anyway.
Mac Users:

More often than not, its the browser you're using which either prevents you from seeing the video or makes viewing the videos problematic. Firefox is highly recommended while visiting this web site. Also, Opera, Safari, or Brave browsers work really well for viewing H.264 video and/or QuickTime media. All four of these browsers work on both PC and Mac. Windows Internet Explorer (IE) and Chrome browsers are not recommended. Please be sure that whatever browser you're using is updated to the most recent version.
If you're running a Windows operating system and you're having trouble viewing the videos it may be as simple as visiting Microsoft Windows Update to make sure your operating system is properly updated. If you're still running Windows XP, it needs to be updated with Service Pack 2 or later. Again, It not recommended that Windows users use QuickTime Player.
Finally, you may want to clear your browser's cache, restart it, and/or re-boot your computer/device.
